A tribute to Bologna
adidas and Virtus Bologna have unveiled the club’s new jerseys for the 2026/27 EuroLeague season. More than just performance wear, the kits are part of a campaign celebrating the relationship between the club and the city of Bologna.
Davide Casarin, Daniel Hackett, Kessler Edwards and Wendell Moore Jr are the faces of the campaign, photographed from the Torretta Prendiparte, offering an elevated view of Bologna’s rooftops, colors and identity.
Pinstripes and gold details
Both adidas x Virtus kits feature an elegant pinstripe pattern, reinterpreting the club’s traditional black-and-white identity with a contemporary touch.
Gold details celebrate the approach of Virtus Bologna’s historic centenary.
The 2026/27 EuroLeague Home Jersey, which will be unveiled on September 16, builds on the black jerseys worn in recent years, with a clean and elegant design centered around the main circular logo on the chest.
The Away Jersey, presented in white, instead pays tribute to the club’s deepest roots. The iconic “V Nera” makes its return to the chest.
A tribute to Salaborsa
The most distinctive design element appears on the back of both jerseys. The player numbers feature an exclusive pattern inspired by the famous flooring of Salaborsa, one of Bologna’s landmark locations and Virtus’ historic home during the 1940s and 1950s.
The venue was the setting for four of the club’s championships, making the design a tribute to Virtus’ history and a connection between its past, present and future.
The jerseys hit the court
The EuroLeague kit will make its official debut on September 9 in Parma, against Tortona.
The new black Home Jersey will be worn for the first time on September 16, when Virtus face Maxima Roma in a preseason game at the PalaDozza in Bologna.
The new 2026/27 Home and Away jerseys will be available from September 16 exclusively through Virtus Bologna’s physical and online stores.
