Justin Robinson has called for patience with a significantly rebuilt Barcelona roster featuring several players without previous EuroLeague or even European experience. The American guard nevertheless believes strongly in the group’s potential: “This team can be special if it is given time.”
Barcelona intend to play faster and with more energy than in recent seasons. After his experience with Paris Basketball, Robinson hopes to use his familiarity with an up-tempo system to guide his teammates and establish himself as a leader, declaring that he will do whatever is necessary to win.
The 28-year-old revealed that he chose Barcelona despite having other EuroLeague options because of the confidence shown in him and the opportunity to take the reins of the team. Robinson also stressed that Barça must approach the Liga Endesa and EuroLeague with equal focus because of the demanding level of both competitions.
