Stephen Curry’s right knee remains a concern ahead of the new season. The Golden State Warriors star missed significant time during the previous campaign because of patellofemoral pain syndrome.
“There’s at least some lingering concern about the knee,” NBC Sports Bay Area’s Monte Poole said. Curry and his training staff have reportedly developed a specific plan to manage and support the joint.
Despite the issue, Curry is said to be confident that he can play more than 70 games. His contract extension also remains unresolved, although the two-time MVP is in no rush: “We’ll figure that out at the right time.”
