Christos Stavropoulos provided an update on Olimpia Milano on the eve of the Crete IBT. The general manager confirmed to SPORT24 that Nicola Akele and Stefano Tonut are already in Crete, while Marko Guduric and Leandro Bolmaro will join the team today.
Pippo Ricci, however, will not be present: “He’s been feeling a little discomfort and will stay in Milan.” Regarding the roster, Stavropoulos expressed great confidence: “We’ve tried to build a more balanced team across all positions, and I believe we’ve succeeded. I’m very optimistic.”
He also had important words for Alec Peters: “He’ll help us a lot with his experience. There’s no need to say much about Alec: he’ll be a key asset for the team.” Regarding the Moses Wright situation, he clarified: “A guaranteed contract entails commitments from the club to the player and from the player to the club. That’s clear.”
