Keshad Johnson chose Heat two-way deal over standard offers

Keshad Johnson chose to return to the Miami Heat on a two-way contract despite receiving standard offers from other franchises, according to Barry Jackson of the Miami Herald.

His salary will drop from $2 million last season to $678,882. Johnson nevertheless said he was not ready to leave Miami: “I have a lot of unfinished business here.”

The 25-year-old must capitalize on every opportunity after receiving no guarantee of a future promotion. He averaged 4.3 points and 1.9 rebounds across 32 games last season.
