Others believed the Clippers had already paid a significant price through the sporting consequences of the Leonard partnership, which Windhorst described as “an absolute disaster” for the franchise.
Windhorst also emphasized the historic scale of the decision and its impact on Adam Silver’s reputation: “He has been presumed to be soft on crime. That’s not something you can say today.”
