FIATC Girona signs Dominykas Stenionis on temporary deal

The Lithuanian point guard joins from Valmiera with an option to remain through the end of the season

FIATC Girona has announced the signing of Dominykas Stenionis. The 1.79-meter Lithuanian point guard has agreed to a temporary contract that includes an option for the remainder of the season.

The club moved to reinforce its backcourt following Isaac’s injury. Sporting director Fernando San Emeterio described Stenionis as an “electric” player capable of creating advantages, setting up teammates and generating his own shots.

Stenionis averaged 13.7 points and 7.9 assists for Valmiera last season, winning the Latvian-Estonian League and Latvian Cup while earning MVP honors in the cup final.
