Gabriele Procida began his season with Real Madrid with an impressive performance in the first preseason test against Río Breogán. Despite the 110-102 defeat, the Italian was one of the best players on Pedro Martínez’s team.
Procida finished the game with 16 points, shooting 3/4 from two-point range, 2/5 from three and 4/6 from the free-throw line. He also added 8 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals for a total of 24 in evaluation.
The 2002-born forward was Real Madrid’s third-leading scorer, behind Okeke (18) and Tavares (17), and shared the team-high in evaluation with the Cape Verdean center at 24.
