Russell Westbrook and Chris Paul have chosen a special way to celebrate their retirement from basketball. The two former NBA stars are planning to take a vacation together with their wives.
Matt Barnes revealed the plan on the All The Smoke podcast: “I talked to CP two days ago. He and Russell are going on vacation together. They’re taking their wives, putting their feet in the sand, having some drinks and celebrating. It’s the end of a great journey for both of them.”
Paul retired after 21 seasons, 12 All-Star selections and finishing second in NBA history in assists and steals. Westbrook ended an 18-year career as a former MVP and the league’s all-time leader with 209 triple-doubles.
