DeMar DeRozan remains unsigned ahead of the 2026-27 season, with the market around the former All-Star continuing to develop. According to ClutchPoints’ Brett Siegel, Cleveland, Denver, Miami, Toronto and Washington have shown interest, but the Nuggets, Heat and Wizards have recently moved to the front of the race.
Denver could offer DeRozan the best opportunity to compete for a championship alongside Nikola Jokic and Jamal Murray, while Miami has been linked with him for some time. Washington, meanwhile, could give him a significant leadership role and still has its $15 million mid-level exception available.
Siegel considers Washington the best fit for DeRozan, although he predicts Miami could ultimately be his destination, but Washington should not be overlooked.
