The Novi Sad club has reportedly expressed interest in bringing back the former Serbian international, who is currently with Crvena Zvezda. His arrival would be a major signing for the club.

Nikola Kalinić could return to Novi Sad. According to Meridian Sport, Vojvodina has expressed interest in the former Serbian international, who took some of the first major steps of his career with the club from his hometown.

Kalinić is currently in his third spell with Crvena Zvezda, where he has won several trophies. His first stint, in 2014-15, ended with the first domestic treble in the club’s history, a feat he repeated in 2021-22. After returning to Belgrade in 2024, he added two more trophies to his collection.

For now, it is only an expression of interest, but Vojvodina is looking to strengthen its position, and bringing Kalinić back would be an important step in that direction.
