The experienced American guard joins the Turkish club after finishing last season with Treviso, bringing NBA and EuroLeague experience to the roster.

Karşıyaka has officially announced the signing of Briante Weber for the 2026-27 season.

The veteran American guard arrives after spending last season with Treviso Basket and brings an extensive résumé that includes NBA stints with the Memphis Grizzlies, Miami Heat, Golden State Warriors, Charlotte Hornets, and Houston Rockets, as well as European experience with Olympiacos, Boulogne, Büyükçekmece, Reggio Emilia, Dinamo Sassari, and Treviso.

Widely regarded as one of the top perimeter defenders, Weber was named the Atlantic 10 Defensive Player of the Year three times during his college career. He later earned Turkish Basketball Super League Defensive Player of the Year honors in 2023 and was voted the Italian Serie A Defensive Player of the Year in 2026.

Karşıyaka adds an experienced two-way guard with elite defensive credentials, leadership, and a proven track record at both the NBA and European levels.
