Balkan Botevgrad has announced the signing of David Okwera. The 208cm Australian big man of South Sudanese descent arrives with experience in the NBL, having played for Melbourne United and the Perth Wildcats before joining the East Perth Eagles.
Okwera will strengthen Botevgrad’s frontcourt, bringing size and athleticism to the team ahead of the club’s historic debut in the BKT EuroCup.
