Crvena Zvezda Meridianbet has officially announced the signing of Serbian prospect Andrej Bjelic from Real Madrid. The 18-year-old guard, standing at 194 centimeters, has signed a two-year contract with the Belgrade club, fulfilling his childhood dream of representing the team he has supported since he was young.
Bjelic spent the past three seasons in Real Madrid’s youth system after taking his first basketball steps at Crvena Zvezda. Last season, he helped Real Madrid’s Under-22 team win the Liga Under-22 championship.
Regarded as one of the most talented players of his generation, Bjelic now returns to Belgrade ready to begin a new chapter with his boyhood club.
