The Canadian forward extends his contract with Phoenix through 2030 and becomes one of the cornerstones of the new project led by Jordan Ott.

Dillon Brooks and the Phoenix Suns will continue their partnership. According to Shams Charania, the Canadian forward has agreed to a three-year, $73 million contract extension that will keep him with the franchise through the 2029-30 season.

Arriving in Phoenix to bring more physicality and toughness to the roster, Brooks quickly became one of the key figures in the Suns’ new identity. His defensive intensity, ability to guard top perimeter players and competitive mentality have perfectly matched the “hard-nosed” culture built by new head coach Jordan Ott.

The former Grizzlies and Rockets forward is therefore confirmed as a crucial piece of Phoenix’s long-term plans, with the organization choosing to secure one of its most important players with a significant guaranteed contract.
