Following the statement issued by Besiktas Basketbol announcing the official signing of UCAM Murcia CB player David DeJulius, the Spanish club released a clarification regarding the situation.
UCAM Murcia stated that it has not granted the player his release, as it believes this should not happen without first reaching an agreement over the termination of his contract.
The club also confirmed that it will continue to defend its rights both before FIBA and through legal action against all parties involved in the matter.
