Euroleague Basketball has released the schedule for the 2026-27 season. The 20-team regular season will begin on Thursday, September 24, 2026, and run for 38 rounds before concluding on Friday, April 16, 2027.
Round 1 will immediately feature Barcelona-Anadolu Efes, Baskonia-Olympiacos and Panathinaikos-Paris Basketball. Both Italian teams will debut on Friday, September 25: Virtus Bologna will visit Fenerbahce, while Olimpia Milano will face Partizan in Belgrade.
The first Italian derby will arrive as early as Round 2, with Olimpia hosting Virtus on Tuesday, September 29. The return game is scheduled for Wednesday, December 30, in Bologna. The opening double-round week will then be completed on October 1 and 2.
There are 10 double weeks in the 2026-27 EuroLeague regular season:
September 29–October 2 — Rounds 2–3
October 13–16 — Rounds 5–6
October 27–30 — Rounds 8–9
November 17–20 — Rounds 12–13
December 15–18 — Rounds 17–18
January 12–15 — Rounds 22–23
February 2–5 — Rounds 26–27
March 9–12 — Rounds 30–31
March 23–26 — Rounds 33–34
April 6–9 — Rounds 36–37
In total, 20 of the 38 matchdays will therefore be played during a double week.
