Karditsa have announced the signing of Chris Smith, a 27-year-old American forward listed at 2.06 meters. Smith joins the club after spending last season with Iraklis, where he averaged 12.1 points and 6 rebounds over 32 games.
Born in Chicago on December 24, 1999, Smith played college basketball at UCLA, finishing his career with 105 appearances and 844 points. After college, he signed with the Detroit Pistons and spent time in the G League before moving to Europe in 2024 with Kiryat Ata in Israel.
Smith is expected to bring talent, athleticism and energy to Karditsa’s frontcourt. The Greek club highlighted that he is already familiar to local fans after his experience with Iraklis in domestic and European competition.
