Mario Hezonja is officially heading back to the NBA. The Croatian EuroLeague star has agreed to a one-year, $2.8 million deal with the Cleveland Cavaliers, according to Shams Charania, citing Michael Tellem of Excel Sports Management.
After establishing himself as one of Europe’s premier players with Real Madrid, Hezonja will receive another opportunity in the NBA. The 31-year-old previously played for the Orlando Magic, New York Knicks, and Portland Trail Blazers before returning to Europe, where he became one of the continent’s top performers.
Cleveland adds an experienced and versatile forward to strengthen its roster for the upcoming season.
