Tezenis Verona is closing in on the signing of Andrew Andrews. According to the report, the club is targeting the American combo guard to add leadership, experience and scoring to Alessandro Ramagli’s backcourt.
Andrews, 33, was born in Portland and stands 1.88 meters tall. After his NCAA career at Washington, he built a long European career with stops in Turkey, Latvia, Israel, Greece, Spain and Lithuania. In 2022/23, he also played for Panathinaikos in EuroLeague.
Last season, Andrews played in Australia with the Cairns Taipans. His résumé also includes an appearance with the United States national team at the 2025 AmeriCup. His signing with Verona is expected to be completed in the coming hours.
