George Conditt IV signs with Leyma Coruña

The Puerto Rican center joins after stints with Gran Canaria and Gigantes de Carolina

Leyma Coruña continues to build its roster for the 2026/27 season, strengthening the frontcourt with George Conditt IV. The 2000-born, 2.11-meter center from Chicago has international experience with Puerto Rico, having played in the 2023 World Cup and the 2024 Olympic Games.

Conditt played four years in the NCAA with Iowa State, reaching the Sweet Sixteen, before starting his professional career with Gigantes de Carolina. In Europe, he played for Promitheas Patras in the Greek league and EuroCup, then moved to the G League with Rip City Remix, where he was named Defensive Player of the Year, and later joined Dreamland Gran Canaria in ACB.

The big man arrives after another stint with Gigantes de Carolina, where he averaged 9.1 points, 8.3 rebounds and 1.5 assists. Leyma Coruña adds a center able to play in the low post, protect the rim, run the floor and impact the game as a pick-and-roll finisher.
