Besiktas has officially announced the departure of Matt Thomas.
The sharpshooting guard joined the Turkish club midway through last season after a strong start in Spain with Granada, where he averaged 14.6 points per game while shooting 46% from three-point range.
With Besiktas, Thomas averaged 7.1 points in 14 minutes per game in the Turkish Basketball Super League, shooting an impressive 48% from beyond the arc. In the EuroCup, he recorded 4.8 points in 12 minutes per game, with a three-point percentage of 32%.
The former NBA player now becomes a free agent after a short stint in Turkey.
