Mario Hezonja is expected to rejoin the NBA for the first time since the 2019/20 season. According to Marc Stein, the Real Madrid forward has drawn interest from multiple NBA teams.
Hezonja, a former No. 5 overall pick in the NBA Draft, has spent recent seasons in Europe with Real Madrid, establishing himself as one of the key players on the roster. His name had already been linked to a possible exit from the Spanish club through an NBA clause.
Stein adds that the list of interested teams is said to include franchises also pursuing LeBron James. The NBA market could therefore connect two major storylines, with Hezonja ready to reopen the American chapter of his career.
