Official: Baskonia and Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot part ways

The French forward leaves the Spanish club after two seasons, during which he established himself as one of the EuroLeague and Liga Endesa’s top scorers.

French forward Timothé Luwawu-Cabarrot and Baskonia have officially parted ways after two seasons together in Vitoria-Gasteiz.

During his time with the club, the Cannes native appeared in a total of 133 games: 62 in the EuroLeague, 68 in the Liga Endesa, and three in the Copa del Rey. He also helped Baskonia capture the 2026 Copa del Rey title.

In the 2025-26 EuroLeague season, Luwawu-Cabarrot averaged 18.2 points, 3.4 rebounds, and a 16.4 performance index rating per game. Domestically, across the Liga Endesa and Copa del Rey, he posted 18.1 points per game with a 16.6 efficiency rating. He finished as the Liga Endesa’s leading scorer and earned a spot on the All-Liga Endesa First Team.
