Official: Fenerbahçe signs Will Clyburn to a one-year deal

The experienced American forward joins the reigning EuroLeague champions after spending the 2025-26 season with FC Barcelona.

Fenerbahçe Men’s Basketball has officially signed American forward Will Clyburn (2.01 m, born in 1990) to a one-year contract following his stint with FC Barcelona.

After playing collegiate basketball at the University of Utah (2010-11) and Iowa State University (2011-13), Clyburn began his professional career in Europe with German side ratiopharm Ulm during the 2013-14 season.

He went on to play for Hapoel Holon in the 2015-16 campaign before moving to Istanbul to join Darüşşafaka for the 2016-17 season. A year later, he signed with CSKA Moscow, where he spent five seasons and enjoyed the most successful period of his career.

In the 2018-19 season, Clyburn was named to the All-EuroLeague First Team while helping CSKA capture the EuroLeague title. He was also named the EuroLeague Final Four MVP and won three VTB United League championships with the Russian powerhouse.

Clyburn returned to Istanbul for the 2022-23 season, joining Anadolu Efes and winning the Turkish League title. In 2024-25, he added another domestic championship to his résumé by helping Virtus Bologna win the Italian League title.

During the 2025-26 season, Clyburn played for FC Barcelona, averaging 13.8 points, 5.2 rebounds, 1.7 assists, and a 15.1 performance index rating in the EuroLeague.
