“Following another trophyless season, FC Barcelona Basketball is going through a period of major uncertainty. The club has already parted ways with several key players, including retired veteran Jan Vesely, Willy Hernangómez, Tomas Satoransky, Nico Laprovittola, Youssoupha Fall and Will Clyburn, while Joel Parra could also leave before the start of the new season. As things stand, the roster is extremely thin, particularly in the frontcourt.
The situation is further complicated by the fact that Barcelona still has no head coach or sporting director after the departures of Xavi Pascual, Juan Carlos Navarro and Mario Bruno Fernández from their respective roles.
Although deals for Josh Nebo, Olivier Nkhouama and Moses Wright have reportedly been agreed, with other targets also under consideration, the club has yet to officially announce a single signing.
