Fenerbahce has officially announced a two-year contract extension for Nicolò Melli, keeping the Italian forward with the club through the end of the 2027-28 season.
The new deal highlights Melli’s importance as one of the team’s leaders on and off the court. In its statement, the Turkish club praised the former Olimpia Milano captain for embodying Fenerbahce’s fighting spirit and sense of belonging. Melli also played a key role in the team’s second EuroLeague title, adding to several domestic trophies during his time in Istanbul.
Despite Olimpia Milano’s efforts to bring him back to Italy, Fenerbahce’s renewed commitment and the continuity under Sarunas Jasikevicius convinced Melli to remain with the reigning EuroLeague champions.
