Valencia Basket have announced Xavi Albert as the new head coach of the men’s team. The Valencia-born coach, born in 1987, will lead the Taronja for the next two seasons.
Albert spent the past three seasons as an assistant coach with the men’s professional team. He had already served as head coach during the final stretch of the 2023-24 season, leading Valencia for eleven games and securing the top seed in the regular season.
With this decision, Valencia Basket choose continuity and the promotion of talent developed within L’Alqueria del Basket, staying true to a philosophy based on identity, playing style and internal growth.
