Olimpia Milano have announced a multi-year agreement with Darius Thompson, the 1.93m playmaker born in Murfreesboro, Tennessee, on May 4, 1995. According to RealOlimpiaMilano, the deal is based on a three-year contract.
“I am incredibly excited to open this new chapter of my career at Olimpia Milano,” Thompson said. “My family and I want to make Milan our home and become part of the Olimpia family.”
Last season, Thompson played for Valencia Basket, averaging 9.0 points, 3.1 assists and 1.0 steals in EuroLeague while shooting 40.2% from three and helping the team reach the Final Four. He also contributed to the Spanish league title with 7.4 points and 2.9 assists per game.
