Olimpia Milano is preparing for a major roster overhaul following two significant departures that mark the end of a recent cycle. Armoni Brooks has officially signed a two-year deal with ASVEL Villeurbanne, while Shavon Shields will leave the club after six seasons and is expected to join Fenerbahçe Istanbul.
This is, in part, an inevitable rebuilding phase for the Milan club, driven both by important financial offers received for key players and by the natural conclusion of a technical and human cycle.
Brooks leaves Milan after two standout seasons, capped by an MVP-level performance and three trophies won in the most recent campaign. He said goodbye to the club and fans with words of gratitude, highlighting the strong bond built with teammates and the environment, as well as the strong support from the crowd.
Shields, the former captain, also appears set to leave Milan after a long and successful spell, during which he won a total of ten trophies with Olimpia and played a central role in the team’s development in recent seasons. The club is therefore heading into a deep rebuilding phase, aiming to restore a new competitive balance after the departure of two of its main offensive references.
