The American forward returns to EuroCup after one season with Igokea in the ABA League

Javon Bess is a new U-BT Cluj-Napoca player. The Romanian club announced the signing of the American small forward for the 2026-27 season.

Bess, 30 years old and 1.98m, arrives from Igokea m:tel Aleksandrovac, where he faced Cluj twice last season in the ABA League. He averaged 6.6 points, 3.1 rebounds and 1.0 steal in 25 games.

The move marks his return to the BKT EuroCup after his 2024-25 stint with Turk Telekom Ankara. Coach Mihai Silvăsan highlighted his physical strength, defensive versatility and team-first mentality.
