Besiktas has officially added veteran wing Furkan Korkmaz to its roster for the 2026-27 season, strengthening its backcourt with an experienced international player.
Korkmaz joins Beşiktaş after spending the 2025-26 campaign with TOFAŞ.
The Turkish international began his professional career with Anadolu Efes in 2013 before being selected by the Philadelphia 76ers with the 26th overall pick in the first round of the 2016 NBA Draft. During his career, he has also played for AS Monaco, in addition to his stints with Anadolu Efes and the 76ers.
Capable of playing both shooting guard and small forward, Korkmaz now begins a new chapter with Beşiktaş, which welcomed him to the club and wished him success in its official announcement.
