The Los Angeles Lakers have been extremely active during the opening hours of NBA free agency, reaching agreements with three players while also finalizing a trade that is expected to bring center Walker Kessler to Los Angeles.
The Lakers are set to add guards Quentin Grimes and Collin Sexton, along with forward Sandro Mamukelashvili.
Grimes has reportedly agreed to a four-year, $60 million contract that includes a player option for the final season.
Sexton is expected to sign a two-year deal worth approximately $19 million, also featuring a player option, likely using the room exception. Mamukelashvili has reportedly agreed to a four-year, $52 million contract with a player option in the final year.
Following these moves, the Lakers are projected to sit roughly $14 million below the first apron.

Lakers and Jazz agreed to a sign-and-trade deal: Walker Kessler to Los Angeles for unprotected first-round picks in 2031 and 2033 from L.A., plus first-round pick swaps in 2028 and 2030. The big man will sign a four-year, $130 million deal.
