Luke Kennard is expected to be one of the names to watch as NBA free agency opens. According to The Athletic, the Phoenix Suns are expected to show significant interest in the guard.
Kennard is coming off a season in which he led the NBA in three-point shooting, hitting 47.8 percent from beyond the arc across his time with the Atlanta Hawks and Los Angeles Lakers.
The Lakers acquired Kennard at the trade deadline, and he became one of their playoff heroes last season.
Phoenix is looking for shooting help after trading Royce O’Neale and Grayson Allen to the Charlotte Hornets.
The Lakers are also interested in Kennard, setting up a possible free-agency battle with the Suns.
