Virtus Bologna have announced the signing of Tommaso Baldasso on a two-year deal.
The Italian combo guard spent the last three seasons with Derthona Tortona, reaching the LBA playoff quarterfinals twice and the Basketball Champions League quarterfinals once. Last season, he helped lead Derthona to a historic Italian Cup final, averaging over 10 points per game in the league while shooting 90% from the free-throw line.
Baldasso has already won two Italian league titles and one Italian Cup. He has also made 24 appearances with the Italian national team, recently scoring 29 points with 7/11 from three against Croatia.
