Euroleague Basketball launches SuperCup, first edition expected in September 2026

The new competition will join Euroleague Basketball’s portfolio, with the inaugural edition planned for September 18-19

The Euroleague Commercial Assets Board has approved the launch of the SuperCup, a new competition that will become part of the Euroleague Basketball portfolio.

The inaugural edition is expected to take place on September 18 and 19, 2026, ahead of the start of the EuroLeague and BKT EuroCup seasons.

Further details regarding the competition format and participating teams will be announced in due course. The SuperCup launch is among the strategic decisions approved by the ECA Board and now set to be submitted to the General Assembly for ratification on July 7.
