JD Notae joins Trabzonspor after his stint with Trapani

The Turkish club announced the signing of the American scoring guard, who had been sidelined since December after Trapani’s shutdown and some physical issues

Trabzonspor Basketbol has officially announced the signing of JD Notae, the American guard who played for Trapani during the 2025-26 season.

Notae had been inactive since December, following the shutdown of the Sicilian club and also due to physical issues. In Italy’s Serie A, he appeared in 9 games for Trapani, averaging 13.4 points, 2.6 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 2.0 steals per game.

His numbers were even stronger in the Basketball Champions League, where he averaged 20.0 points, 4.3 rebounds and 3.7 assists over 3 games, shooting 38.5% from three and 90.0% from the free-throw line.
