Marek Blazevic is returning to Zalgiris Kaunas after four seasons away. The Lithuanian club announced the signing of the 24-year-old center on a 2+1 deal running through the end of the 2028-29 season.
Blazevic, 2.11 meters tall, left Kaunas for Spain, where he spent two seasons with Obradoiro. He later played for Wolves Vilnius, averaging 9.6 points, 4.6 rebounds and 11.4 PIR in the EuroCup.
During the 2025-26 season, he played in Turkey for Tofas Bursa, reaching the Basketball Champions League round of 16 and finishing as the team’s most valuable player with 15.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
“Not everyone gets a second chance, so I hope I can take advantage of it,” Blazevic said. Club president Paulius Jankunas praised his development: “He has grown a lot and brings energy to the team.”
