Marcquise Reed has parted ways with Trabzonspor as he looks to fulfill his dream of competing in the EuroLeague.
The 31-year-old is coming off three outstanding seasons in the Turkish BSL, including a remarkable 2025-26 campaign in which he led the league in scoring with 23.3 points per game while also averaging 5.0 assists and 1.9 steals. He shot an efficient 54% from the field, 34% from three-point range, and 87% from the free-throw line.
Reed, who has also a Georgian passport, reportedly turned down a significant offer from Trabzonspor and is determined to test himself at the highest level of European basketball.
Some Turkish media outlets have linked him with Fenerbahce, which is still competing in the BSL Finals. However, after a season of this caliber, the former Clemson standout is expected to attract interest from several clubs across Europe.
