Zalgiris Kaunas are reportedly close to reaching an agreement with Maxwell Lewis, who spent the season with Lithuanian League runner-up Juventus Utena.
According to BasketNews sources, the two sides are nearing a long-term deal. The plan would see Lewis spend the 2026-27 season on loan, with the London Lions emerging as the most likely destination. Before moving to Europe, the talented forward played in the NBA with the Los Angeles Lakers and Brooklyn Nets.
Across two NBA seasons, Lewis appeared in 62 games, averaging 2.0 points in 6.9 minutes per contest while gaining valuable experience at the highest level.
