NBA, FIBA and EuroLeague Continue Talks Over the Future of European Basketball

Representatives met in Switzerland to discuss potential areas of cooperation, with another meeting already scheduled for July.

Representatives from the NBA, FIBA and EuroLeague met on Wednesday in Mies, Switzerland, to continue discussions regarding the future of European basketball.

The meeting focused on potential areas of cooperation and broader topics related to the development of the sport across the continent in the coming years. EuroLeague President Dejan Bodiroga and CEO Chus Bueno were among those in attendance.

The dialogue between the three organizations is set to continue, with another meeting already scheduled for early July. Discussions come at a time of growing attention around the proposed NBA Europe project, which is currently expected to begin operations in 2027.
