The Serbian coach, previously linked to Donnie Nelson and Rimas Kaukenas’ Roma project, is set to lead the Turkish club

Sasha Djordjevic has reportedly reached an agreement with Bahcesehir Koleji for the 2026-27 season. According to Eurohoops, negotiations have been successfully completed for the Serbian coach to take over the Istanbul club.

Djordjevic had also been linked to the new Roma project led by Donnie Nelson and Rimas Kaukenas, but his future now appears headed toward Turkey.

Bahcesehir aims to build an ambitious roster to compete domestically and in the EuroCup, with the goal of moving closer to a potential EuroLeague berth. Djordjevic brings major pedigree, with domestic titles, European success and medals won as head coach of the Serbian national team.
