The Real Madrid head coach spoke ahead of the 2026 EuroLeague Final against Olympiacos, praising the Greek side while highlighting his team’s growth throughout the season.

Real Madrid Baloncesto head coach Sergio Scariolo is preparing for the 2026 EuroLeague Final, where his team will face Olympiacos. Below are Scariolo’s statements during the pre-game press conference.

Scariolo said: “We are happy to be here, but at the same time we are still demanding of ourselves. We do not want to stop fighting, preparing, and competing. We are aware that the opponent is the best of the best, no matter from which angle you look at it, but at the same time I believe we are here for a reason. We are here because we have grown and improved consistently throughout the entire season.

Olympiacos absolutely deserve first place and the position they are in, and we know they will be a very tough opponent. At the same time, we are in a good position and we want to play all our cards until the very end of the game.”
