Usman Garuba left the EuroLeague semifinal between Valencia and Real Madrid in the fourth quarter with an injury

Usman Garuba will miss the EuroLeague final against Olympiacos after suffering an injury during Real Madrid’s semifinal win over Valencia.

The Spanish big man went down in the fourth quarter with a non-contact injury, as Madrid led 86-73. Garuba tried to walk on his own on the sideline but was unable to put full weight on his leg.

Coach Sergio Scariolo confirmed his absence: “I don’t know what happened to him before the doctors run the tests. But he is obviously 100% out for Sunday.”

Real Madrid now reaches the final in a full frontcourt emergency, already without Edy Tavares and Alex Len. According to club medical staff, the early signs “don’t look good at all.”
