Virtus Bologna reportedly make Carsen Edwards stay a priority

Virtus Bologna wants to keep Carsen Edwards for next season, with Athletiko reporting that his renewal is one of the club’s main goals.

According to Athletiko, Virtus Bologna has placed Carsen Edwards high on its list for the 2026/27 roster after signing him last summer on a one-year deal following his strong season with Bayern Munich.

The two sides have reportedly already started talks over a new contract, and negotiations are said to be progressing well, showing mutual interest in continuing together.

Edwards averaged 17.3 points in EuroLeague, shooting 46.7% from two and 31.9% from three, while adding 2.2 rebounds and 2.3 assists per game.

For Virtus, now focused on the LBA playoffs, keeping its leading offensive weapon would be a key step in building next season’s roster.
