News coming from Greece is bound to spark discussion around the future of Olimpia Milano guard Armoni Brooks. According to SPORT24, the American shooting guard has reportedly reached an agreement with Partizan Belgrade for the next two seasons.
The Greek outlet reports that the Serbian club has finalized a deal with Brooks, whose contract with EA7 Emporio Armani Milano expires at the end of the current season. SPORT24 also highlighted Brooks’ EuroLeague numbers: 13.1 points per game, 41.6% shooting from three-point range and 3.5 rebounds, while appearing in all 38 regular season games.
However, according to information gathered by RealOlimpiaMilano after the final buzzer of Game 1 against Pallacanestro Reggiana, sources inside the Italian club stated that, as of today, no communication has arrived from the player’s representatives regarding any agreement already reached with Partizan.
The situation therefore remains open. Brooks is set to become a free agent, and his future is one of the key topics of Milano’s offseason. Interest from top European clubs comes as no surprise after an MVP-caliber LBA season, but at the moment there are no formal notifications in Milano about a completed deal with Partizan.
