The Portland Trail Blazers are continuing their search for a new head coach. According to Michael Scotto, the franchise interviewed Jared Dudley, currently the lead assistant coach for the Denver Nuggets.
Ben Sullivan has also entered Portland’s coaching search. The Houston Rockets assistant interviewed for the Phoenix Suns job last summer and has worked under Ime Udoka with the Rockets and Celtics, Joe Mazzulla, and Mike Budenholzer with the Bucks and Hawks.
Sullivan also has a direct connection to the city, having played for the University of Portland. Dudley brings 14 seasons of NBA playing experience and previous assistant coaching work with the Dallas Mavericks.
