Jonas Valanciunas may return to Europe next season. According to BasketNews, several EuroLeague clubs are tracking the Lithuanian center, including Zalgiris Kaunas.
Valanciunas still has one year left on his contract with the Denver Nuggets, but the franchise can terminate the deal by July 8. If that happens, he would receive a $2 million compensation payment.
Zalgiris are looking for a new center, with Moses Wright expected to join Barcelona. Valanciunas, who turns 34 on May 6, spent the NBA season backing up Nikola Jokic, averaging 8.7 points and 5.1 rebounds in 13.4 minutes.
