The Atlanta Hawks ended their season with a night to forget, as Dyson Daniels and Mitchell Robinson were ejected from Game 6 against the New York Knicks following a fight.
The incident came with the outcome already decided, as New York led by 50 points. Robinson boxed out Daniels, tempers flared, and even an official fell to the floor while players and coaches tried to separate them.
The Knicks went on to win 140-89 and close the series. Mike Brown said, “When you’re up that big, stuff happens.” Quin Snyder acknowledged Atlanta’s frustration after the Hawks trailed 83-36 at halftime, the largest halftime deficit in NBA playoff history.
