Luka Doncic is facing a slow recovery process. Shams Charania said on ESPN that the Los Angeles Lakers star has been out since the beginning of the month with a Grade 2 hamstring strain.
If the Lakers advance past the Houston Rockets and face the Oklahoma City Thunder in the next round, the expectation is that Doncic will be out to start that series.
Doncic is gradually ramping up his on-court work, but he has not yet progressed to full scrimmages or complete workouts. For now, there is still no clarity on his return timeline.
